Charlaine's a she. ;) Have you heard of the TV series TruBlood? It's inspired by Charlaine Harris' "Southern Vampire Mysteries" series. Those are the books I have on there. It starts with Dead Before Dawn but I read that last December so it's not on here. ;) The series is about a barmaid named Sookie who begins dating a vampire. She has the ability to read minds so the vampires see her as a useful commodity. It's a fascinating series. I really enjoyed them.

I recommend every last one of these books. I haven't read a bad book this year. ;)

We've read about the same books this year!! I'm just getting into Outlander and the Sookie books now though. :D

I'm glad I didn't read Outlander until later in the year otherwise I wouldn't have read anything else. :/
