Christmas is over! Woo!
It didn't feel like Christmas this year. I feel like just another day has gone by the only exception being that I'm a little bit richer than yesterday! I was sorely put out over the fact that it did not snow by the by!
Last night I had Christmas with my grandparents on my mother's side. It was fun but a lot of my family couldn't make it until next week and it just wasn't the same. I was also sick which dampened my spirits as well. My great aunt told me to squirt salt water up my nose and it would clear my sinuses. So I came home and did just that. Brandon I should have listened to you. It hurt like hell and it didn't help me in the slightest! i should have known not to listen to my insane relatives!
I was awakened at 7:30 this morning to open presents with my mom, stepdad, sister and kitties and I had some good surprises! An electric guitar, sound system for my car, movies, books, Q as F seasons 1 and 2 on dvd. Hell yeah! Then I had to go to my dad's where I got money, a portable cd player, etc etc. But there were a few mishaps along the way. First, my dad was late picking us up. Second, I was balancing so much crap in my hands when I was trying to get in my dad's car that I accidentally hit my mom's car with the door! There is now a slight dent on my mom's new SUV. I've decided not to say anything for now b/c I'd like to live to see the new year. So if anyone speaks to her for some reason, kindly forget to mention that, ok?
After opening presents at my dad's house, I went to my grandmother's. As much as I love and adore that woman, she sucks at presents. Every year she says she's not going to get us clothes b/c we always take them back, and every year I end up with a hideous sweater that I would not bestow upon my worst enemy. Last year it was sequins, snowmen, and puff balls. This year... shoulder pads. WTF! No self-respecting woman wears shoulder pads these days! So I lied to dear old grandma and told her it wouldn't fit. Everything sort of winded down after that and it was a little boring, so my dad brought us home and now here I sit, in front of the computer once again. I've been watching Q as F nonstop and I have very big plans for shopping tomorrow! I hope everyone has had a wonderful holiday and I will see you all tomorrow at LYG, or maybe I will talk to you sooner! Merry Christmas!
