So I'm catching old episodes of The Sentinel (I love still owning a VCR), and within the first 5 minutes of 'True Crimes' I'm going 'I know that one bad guy... Where the Hell do I know him from?' Well another 10 minutes in and I have it 'Kavan Smith who plays Maj. Evan Lorne on Stargate: Atlantis (and Detective Joe (never did catch a last name) on ( Read more... )

Hah. If that trailer freaks you out, you wouldn't be able to handle Silent Hill, any of them (there are 5), at all. I live for survival horror games. Dead Space doesn't really impress me, but I know a couple friends who REALLY want to play it. ^_^

I've never been any good with 'Thriller/Psych-Thriller/Horror Anything. Which is going to suck the happy right the hell out of my viewings of My Bloody Valentine, and Friday the 13th... I'll end up popping the Thomas Kincade movie in right after.

Hah! Really? I am a horror buff. I absolutely LOVE horror movies and thrillers/psychological thrillers are right up there with them. I can't see myself seeing either of those movies, despite the boys being in them. Friday the 13th is at least a bit of a classic.. but My Bloody Valentine.. is just terrible. And there isn't much they could change to make it any good. I was very sad when I heard they were doing those movies.

Also, I refuse to support anything related to Thomas Kinkade. That man is pure evil.

It's one of the reasons I'm not putting any hope in any of those, and simply waiting for The Watchmen. ^__^

Can I ask why? Or is that one of those 'religion/politics' things that are taboo to talk about? Cause I kind of appreciate his art. Yeah it's cliche'd as all hell, and maybe a little 'sugar coated' but I'm all for the asthetic beauty of it. It's soothing to the mind. Something to enjoy simply for the 'mindless-ness' of it. Like I don't have to put a lot of thought into it to get anything out of it.

I'm curious about 'The Watchmen' as I'm not a 'comic book/graphic novel' person I hadn't heard anything about it till I heard that JDM is going to be in it.

Nah, if you like his art I won't get into why I don't. I'll just to say I think he is a overly mass-produced fraud. The religious aspect doesn't even factor into it, but I'm sure if I thought about that some more it would make me loathe him to a new level. I have met very few people who enjoy his art, anymore. I didn't even know who he was until he was introduced to me by my Art Hist teacher showed us who he was and how truly overproduced he is. And frankly his die-hard fans scare me. I don't see how you would want to live in a Kinkade manufactured cottage.

Sorry.. I'll stop now. It's just.. yeah. I don't like him... at all. Even a little bit. And if you think my seething hatred is bad, you should ask my mothers opinion of him. She can't talk about him without swearing. LoL!

No it's cool. I guess I didn't realise that he is 'overly mass-produced' And I didn't realise he had a 'rabid' fanbase. *shrugs* I don't think I'd want to 'live' in one of his paintings/cottages.

I guess to each his own. Whatev...
