(no subject)
So I was over at TWoP reading the Supernatural discussion board and came across a 'Favorite Lines' thread.
Lots of people are mentioning the 'You are my weakness and I'm yours...' dialogue from the season finale. I also love that line (especially coming from Dean, who is emotionally a rather closed off character), but it just struck me as... off... I finally realised what it reminded me of. (With thanks to fififolle for having posted about the movie).
In Brokeback Mountain Ennis (I think) says to Jack: I wish I could quit you...
I know the actual spoken words are nothing alike but in my mind...
This is all very weird for me as I can't read Bro!Yay/slash fic for this show in other shows *CoughHeroesCough* I can totally see it, but not here. So to have that mental/emotional connection between these two really throws me for a loop.
In other Fannish news: I'm going to be getting my hands on S&H and The Sentinel soon *Is Very Excited* I Flove these fandoms and must give Huge thanks to:
