So Hubby is into MineCraft. And I bought this cake mix last weekend. Made it today; it turned out really good.
So, yes in fact, the cake is not a lie.

It's good, too! It's Devil's Food with a whipped milk chocolate frosting. I gotta give credit where it's due though. Betty Crocker is my hero.

Betty Crocker is awesome. \o/ I almost bought a red velvet cake mix yesterday, but then thought better of it, cuz my sister hates red velvet cake, so I'd be stuck eating it all by myself.

No but seriously. It seemed like for a while there Every like 'Master Cupcake Cook-off' show was all about the red velvet. IDK but to me it tastes like any other cake...

I dunno. It's kinda chocolatey, kinda strawberryish, kinda...it's red velvet flavored. I can't even really describe it. I was trying to to someone once, and I was like uh, red velvet flavored? I think the frosting makes it. Cream cheese frosting is like the greatest ever. \o/

LoL. I think '10 Things...' was Heath Ledgers Best movie (with BrokeBack Mountain being second).

Dude! Cream cheese frosting is OF THE GODS!!!

IDK I just think if you have to put food coloring in your cake you're doing it wrong.

I dunno, I like Brokeback better than 10 Things, but then 10 Things is an adaptation of one of my least favorite Shakespeare plays, so that kinda colors things, I think.

Seriously! Cream cheese frosting is the shit! \o/ It belongs on all cakes. But yeah, food coloring in cakes is a little weird...I totally didn't know that until recently when I was looking at recipes for one because I was trying to explain what was in it cuz someone called it a chocolate cake and I'm like no it's not! (cuz it only has a tiny amount of chocolate in the whole thing, like a couple of tablespoons)

I'll hold off judgement on red velvet until I've tried it myself, and attempted to make it at least once.

IDK what it is about 10 Things that I love so much. 'Cause normally I go in for the 'thinky' movies and that was like the total opposite. But it starred Heath and Julia Stiles, and David Krumholtz (of Numb3rs, and Serenity fame), so I can (and will) forgive it for all its faults.

I recommend finding a red velvet cupcake first, then you don't have to have an entire cake of it if you don't like it =D

If you have a microwave cook 1/4 cup mix with enough water/juice/or soda to make it batter thick and cook for about 60-90 secs. no oil so less fat and you make the cake as you want to eat it.

We do this in Tupperware
