GRUMBLE. FUME. HISS. GNASH.
So my home phone hasn't been working since Friday. This is fucking ridiculous. It's a good thing my sister hasn't taken my cell phone off her plan yet.
In other news: There is a small, fan-run Starsky & Hutch convention coming up in October, in MD. It's close enough that I could go. I could afford it (thanks to our tax return), but I have a feeling that running the idea past the hubs will result in him saying 'couldn't we use the money for something 'better' then you spending a weekend away from me and the boys, talking about gay sex the whole time...' And I get that Slash fic makes him uncomfortable, I do, but he's spending over $500 on computer stuff (maybe including a tablet PC for me), I think I should be allowed to spend $250 (and that's assuming I can get a roomate to split the cost of the room with) on a weekend away, talking about something I'm interested in without having to justify it.
