Things Learned From The Proverbial Grapevine
One of my good friends from High School lives in a house who's yard backs up to my mom and dad's neighbors back yard. So her kids cut through the neighbors yard to catch the bus. The neighbor hadn't seen my friend for a while and was worried (friend has Lymphoma and bad days outweigh good ones). In talking to my friends mother mom's neighbor found out that my friend has been blacking out a lot recently, so she was taken to the hospital. But they couldn't do anything for her so they sent her on to a medical center that's better equipped to handle her situation. Anyway come to find out my friend has two tumors in her brain and one is inoperable. They are apparently going to 'try a few things' but I have a feeling the prognosis isn't good. So if y'all could keep Karen R. in your thoughts/prayers I'd really appreciate it.
Gotta love 4th hand information.
In other news: Had another doctors appointment today, all is well. And I'm still on track for delivering on the 28th. My OB did say that I could 'go' any day/time now and she wouldn't stop me, so there is that.
