(no subject)
So here we are, another Monday... My leggs have been really sore this past week, but I am finally getting up and about again, so that's good... and I like the new beta blocker the neurologist has put me on, it helps a lot...
My mom is coping well with her CHF and al her other problems, but this new one was a shocker for her... she is on oxygen and getting used to that, I told her I would get her a little teddy bear backback to carry her oxygen bottle around in. Other than that, she is doing pretty good, just thrice weekly visits to the doctor for her... but her sugars are coming down, her tri-glyc are down, her salts are down, her waters are down, and her blood gas is up again, so that is good, and she is not gasping for air when she walks anywhere... though I had to talk her into getting a wheel chair for those days when she is out longer than an hour or 2 and needs to stop walking, she is overall doing really well.
My son and 4 of his friends went in together and got a house... a mobile home in a trailer park, but atleast they are supporting themselves and have a place to live etc... not a bad start for 5 19 year olds... and it is a 3 bedroom place, he is hooked up with one of the girls and 2 of the other teens are a married couple, so everyone has a place to sleep and their own space... I am glad to see him doing his own thing and actually living some life instead of just fucking everything off..
My transmission crapped out, so I am getting that ordered today, it won't be in until tomorrow or the next day, and they should have it put in by Thursday or Friday... Hubbie and I discussed whether or not we should just trade the van in and get another vehicle, but we figured it is going to cost us 2500 bucks for a new tranny, and atleast 6000 for anything semi decent, even really old, and I don't want a piece of shit for 6000 when I can have the same piece of shit I am already familiar with for the price of a new tranny :D
Got laundry to do, dishes to wash, going to do house chores today, and then start planning out a painting I want to do, this one is going to be a big one... I am hoping that by this time next year I can put on a show at the little museum here... I will include some paintings and several pieces of pottery,,, already have the room set up in my mind, now I just have to get in touch with the chairman of the board,,, good thing I worked for her and we are still friends :D
