Don't you just love when someone recs a fic...
... and it just completely reignites your whole love for the fandom again?
Recently my whole fandom loving has gone straight to Twilight, with just a tiny bit of Harry Potter to keep me on the straight and narrow. I'd been neglecting the UsaMamo Love for a while now. Now I know there are some Twilight haters out there (I partly agree in that I can't stand Bella, but at the end of the day Sparkly Vampires are just plain HOT!) and not everyone gets HP, but then not everyone gets SailorMoon either. To be fair not a lot of people get the whole Manga/Anime thing in general, although I am fighting against that as the sole manga reading person in our whole library service.
But after seeing touchthesoul 's LJ and following the link for Subject To Change by EightofSwords
, OMG WOW I've fallen in love with UsaMamo all over again. I've just spent a week reading both seasons of STC and all the associated oneshots drabbles etc and now all I want to do is read all my old mangas and watch all my old animes of SM, I may even whip out PGSM, if only to see the rubbish subtitles (Queen Barry!) and Luna as a plushie/Sailor Senshi)
I also had a sudden rush of guilt for ignoring the fandom for so long and am now focused on finishing off the 100 drabbles.

N.B in other news I've hurt my ankle/foot between Friday night and saturday morning (and before anyone asks, no I had not been drinking!) and it still hasn't gone away. I think I may have pulled a muscle but I'm not sure. Also in the last three days I've seen two large (humongously gigantic!) spiders and screamed rather loudly. Once at home (it was on the stairs and I was hobbling up anyway so couldn't really run away) and once at work. Thank goodness for younger brothers and (even if they laugh at me while doing it) fantastic work colleagues)
