(no subject)
I'm cuddled in tight with Debs on the couch. She's watching footie and I'm playing online. Makes for a great evening. =)
We went out with the girls from work last night. It was a boyfriend's birthday, but mostly we all went cause the last few weeks have been busy as hell and we were ready for a drink fest. I, however, am sticking to my guns about not drinking for one month. I stayed sober the ENTIRE time, despite having my head held back, my mouth forced open and alcohol poured in. I had to spit it all out cause it went up the back of my nose LOL. I drove Debs home at 11 PM, and she so kindly allowed me to return to the party so long as I promised not to drink or make out with anyone. I kept my promises. (We have a very kissy crew.) Only one shirt came off and it wasn't mine. I did dance on a coffee table though. Good times. I think I have now seen the breasts of most of the women I work with. =) And they've seen mine. =) It reminded me of playing with the other girls in the neighborhood when I was little and the "I'll show you mine if you show me yours" game. I have by far the smallest breasts in our building. But I think I just might have the nicest abs, which, as far as I'm concerned, more than makes up for it. =)
I got home around 3 AM after driving a couple of the girls home. Debs had to work today (thus the taking her drunk ass home at 11 LOL), so I slept in till about 11. I didn't do very much today. Took the dog for a walk. I did manage to write a good rough draft of an essay for applying to a master's program at CSU. Think I'll probably finish that tomorrow.
Had a nice, hot bath. Collected all the laundry but didn't start any of it. That can wait for tomorrow too. Sundays are chores days. Today was recovery day LOL.
We looked at few more houses today and we'll look at one more tomorrow. We're going to make an offer on one that we saw today. It's pretty big and spacious. A bi-level, so Jess can have the downstairs. Plus it has a room we could make into a game room. But I'm not thinking like that! Must not get my hopes up! A decent sized yard. The previous tenants have set up horseshoe pits! They also painted a chopper's cross in the game room. The horseshoe pits will be the first to go LOL. I thought that was a southern thing? Guess not.
We are going to dinner with some friends tomorrow night. Our first dinner out in a while. We're being very good about money right now, trying to put a big chunk of my paycheck into savings. We have to repay savings after Christmas. Usually we put her entire paycheck in savings and pay bills out of that and live off my paycheck. So we're pretty tight putting some of mine in there too, but we are determined to stay above water. Debs has been very good for me as far as money management goes. She's always been much better about it than me. =)
I've suddenly found myself friending loads of people from high school on facebook. It's kinda weird. I was a bit of a loaner in high school, never really close to anyone. I kinda knew people from all the different "clicks". I finally had a small circle of friends there towards the end. It's weird friending all these people I never really knew back then...high school kinda sucked. I seem to remember being scared most of the time LOL, but who didn't? Anywho. Weird.
Wow, facebook eats my brain.
I'm off for bed. Debs went up a few minutes ago. Stumbled up, I should say. She drank alot last night, plus work today on top of a busy week. She's a tired lady. Tomorrow is her day to sleep in!
