Cant sleep....
So I start term 4 today at 0800. It is nearly two in the morning and I cannot sleep. Blarg. On a more exciting note...today is Halloween..woohoo.
Ive never been much for Halloween since I was forced to stop trick-or-treating. There isn't much to it after that. I mean dressing up is fun, but I guess that has kind of lost its appeal too since...its kind of what I do ALL summer. *shrug* But eh. This weekend was a blast fo sho. Went to a party at Britesky's house. Got WAYYY too drunk, but it was still very fun. I was a steampunk vampire...pretty friggen awesome if I do say so, especially since I threw the costume together from a combination of faire clothes, stuff from my closet and a couple of last minute items from Disguises. Then last night I basically used the same steampunk theme but instead of vampire, I threw on a red cloak and a bandolier went as a steampunk/post-apocalyptic-ish Red Riding Hood. It worked...and was actually complimented quite alot. My best friend and I went to a party that her husbands co-worker throws every year, and she was a Red Riding hood as well, and naturally, her hubby was the big bad wolf...
The party sucked....mostly because I didn't drink, and knew like 3 people there...but owell.
Ummm so yeah....Term 4 starting today. That means I only have 20 more weeks until I graduate! *bites nails* I cant believe it. Last term went by SO fast I almost seriously dont remember being in school for 10 whole weeks. I was once again a straight A student *bows for applause* :P
And Im still totally loving it. I actually cant wait to get out there and start working. Im tired of depending on my grandparents for everything. Im ready to get my own place and start getting on with my life. Im hopefully going to be able to pay off some bills, get myself mostly out of debt then hopefully buy a house. But we'll see. I have a couple of offers already for jobs; the place Ive been at for clinicals is a nursing home in Thornton and they said they'd hire me, and to come back when I'd passed my boards for a job...so *thumbs up*...and my dad knows the director of a couple nursing homes in like Littleton or something that he said he could get me a job at....so yah. Its not exactly what I want, but as long as it generates a paycheck I will take it!
Sorry if this post seems terribly disjointed....regardless of the fact that my body refuses to sleep, I AM incredibly tired and kinda having an out of body thing going on. So i'll probably just end here and go tool around on the internet for awhile.
