So far so great! Do you have a Beta for this story? (**raises hand to volunteer**) There were a few bits where I had to go back and re-read what happened to clarify who said/did what. Otherwise I still love it! So like Jake to be joking around, then remember the true subject matter at hand and get all upset again.

Bella seems to be handling everyone's reactions fairly well. I'm waiting for a breakdown, or at least a panic attack. After all, she is still spineless little Bella who had one awesome moment of clarity. At least that's how I'm reading her because that's how my default Bella is in my head ;) Sorry.

I love how you've written their interactions. It flows very well. Cant wait to see more!

Thanks for the offer. I'm writing this by the seat of my pants, so I don't really have time to get anything beta'ed. I'm just barely ahead of myself.
Sorry you got confused (I'm assuming it's where Jake is telling Bella what happened between Edward/Sam/Paul?) No one else has said anything though, so I'm assuming everyone figured it out. I'll keep you in mind with the next fic (which I'm hoping will be like my usual WIPS, and I will let myself get at least 6 chapters or so into it before I post anything). And oh dear god! I'm already talking about the next fic??? LOL
Bella had a mini-breakdown in the motel room, and I'm sure there will be a couple more before it's over. It's all happening so fast, she hasn't had too much time to think.

Why is Bella so stupid?? I want to hit her on the head and make her see just how ridiculous and selfish Edward is. How ridiculous and selfish she herself is for that matter.

I'm so loving the short chapters myself! Usually they're 4,000+ words. I am barely staying ahead of myself here, so it's kinda nice to make them short and then crank out two a week. I mean, I read some fics where the authors take months to crank out chapters. By the time they come out, I've forgotten WTH the story was about! LOL

Both Bella and Edward are selfish, aren't they? Mostly Bella. I think Edward is actually more controlling. Bella has the market cornered on selfishness. hehe

Oh Bella.. still thinking she would have screwed a corpse! At least she wised up somewhat. haha. Had to laugh at the whole exchange of passing on death by fucking to Charlie. ;P And interesting to see what goes down now that Edward knows she's gone and with Jake! Nice job. :)
