Time for a Mega Post

Sooo much stuff has happened today.

Doing warm up exercises in a skirt is interesting, to say the least, but it's a great way to make new friends! Yes, I made a friend (TM) who showed me where to get lunch and how not to be a loner during my 'spare'. And, amazingly enough, I have another friend who is going to suffer through french with me! *carefully hides How Not to Be a Loser 101 and Friendship for Dummies*

I was walking along and I saw this guy who might have been Spiers. Hm, I pondered. Dark hair? Check. Scruffness? Check. Smug smirk? Check. I wave. No response. It must have been Speirs.

I get to the scholarship recipient thing in the michele pujol room, and wait around for the one person I know who going to be there, like a total goober for half an hour. She doesn't show up. Then I start thinking, "Why am I even here? I have work to do. I don't know anybody. I don't know what I'm doing. I wanna go hooooome..." and then start to cry. : ( Very sad. Sad as in, 'aw poor bunny' and sad as in, 'wow. that's... lame.' But this very nice girl and her mum saw me and brought me over to their table and even gave me a ride home when it was over! Yay : ). One thing about the speeches though... it's hard to accept that someone is sincerely concerned about making sure there is enough funding for students and helping students overcome and eliminate financial barriers when tuition's rising and he just got a salary increase.

I just noticed I originally started a sentence with "So,..." twice in this entry. Gus wouldn't beat me with a ten foot pole. And PS: I want to go to a party this weekend. Unfortunately, I don't know of any. Does anyone have plans?
