i don't know if i mentioned to anyone that i was going anywhere, but i'm at an internet cafe in Dublin at the moment. yeah, i know i should have better things do to halfway around the world than be on the internet, but my cellphone is dead, i don't have a power adapter, and i can't get my girlfriend's number out of the damned phonebook. i was hoping she'd be online, but i know she's not on that much lately with her house in disarray. also, it's only 4 in the afternoon there, wheras it's midnight here.

anyway, dublin is cool. kind of just a plain old city but in another country. and what i mean by that is the only things to do are drink and shop, which is what there is to do in any american city. only in dublin i don't have tori to spend time with. although, it's good to spend some time apart, for perspective's sake. i dont know what the last thing i said about her was, but we're very serious, and it's mutual, and it's wonderful. the past issues have all been extinguished, because i think we've both realized how much we mean to eachother. i won't get sappy.

also, it's very expensive here. example: i paid €7 for a gin and tonic, which is almost $10 USD. a pint of stella is €5.20, or around $7 or $8 USD, compared to $4 for a pint of stella at the sundown saloon in boulder.

i'm here with my friend david. today we went to the guiness brewery and then to the christ church cathedral. it was sweet, although i wish it was less renovated, and more original pieces. but i guess if they want it to stay up they have to repair things now and then. its funny how you get older and develop a more refined appreciation for art and then walking through a cathedral becomes much more interesting.

tomorrow we leave dublin for galway, and then on to cork and killarney. we've arranged a car rental, except david doesn't know how to drive stick, and neither of us really knows how to drive on the left side. hopefully it will all work out.

i'm almost out of time, they're closing soon. i'll update later, maybe. who knows what is outside of dublin. also, i have lots of cool photos, but i will not update those until i get back to the US of A.

seacrest, out!
