Thanks to the awesome
moderntime, I have discovered a way to make life easier. Instead of walking a mile to the grocery store, sweating in the non-air-conditioned store, being bumped like a pinball in the narrow aisles, and struggling to get what I can carry into a taxi and back home, now I just have
these people deliver my groceries.
We gave it a try a few days ago, and our first delivery was free. I ordered on the Internet, the prices were comparable to the grocery store, and we didn't have to carry any heavy stuff. And no shopping bags! The delivery people came right on time, and they were really friendly.
A. and I are already planning which heavy/expensive stuff to have delivered regularly. Diet Coke, milk, and laundry detergent are at the top of the list of heavy things I prefer not to haul on my back like a packhorse.
