(no subject)
So I learned, not by mail (my dad complained to the mailman's boss about some late package, so our mail will be messed up for quite some time), but by email from my new AP, that I will be housed in Trezevant for the next year of my life or so. 'Twas not one of my choices, but I will deal. I don't even remember visiting said dorm, and it is not air conditioned. But I'm having faith that all will be good. I wanna know my roommate though.
In other news, we are still out of power. And the power outages have increased from 400,000 out in the metro st.louis area. to 527 thousand in the past day. And we listened to the national news on the radio, and 25000 residences were out of power in Queens, NY, and that made the news, but the 500 some odd thousand in St. Louis, during a massive heat wave, has not. Bias against the midwest a little.
Currently, I'm staying at my aunt's house, who is in Florida at the moment. So I'm braving the heat, in air-conditioning. But, anyways....Yay for Sewanee... ok. bye.
