Week 41
Still only 2cm dialated but the doctor said that she's dropped again. He told me to make another appointment for Monday but he doesn't think I'll need it. Good to hear but he's been wrong before so we'll see. We didn't talk about induction because he doesn't think he'll need to do it which I was glad to hear also but again, he's been wrong before.
I'm still having very mild contractions every few hours. Still no pain at all, just some slight pressure and they still stop when I lay down. Dr S said if I stimulate my nipples through out the day for at least 20 minutes each it should bring on labor but so far it hasn't done anything. My nipples just aren't easily stimulated, they never have been.
Adam is taking off this weekend from work just in case. If she doesn't come sometime today or tonight we're going to the Ren Fest tomorrow while my mother has her open house. I'm definately not going to feel up to dressing in any kind of garb though.
The open house is tomorrow at 11am which means I'm going to have to spend time cleaning again tonight. I swear I don't know why the hell she has to do all this shit now. Nine months pregnant and I have to spend my time cleaning this damn house. I'm not doing a god damn thing while I'm on maternity leave that's for sure. If someone wants to see the house, tough shit. They'll just have to deal with the place being a mess and me being here with the baby. The last thing on earth I'm going to worry about is selling this house when I get home from the hospital.
