If it isn't one thing it's another
Mom and Allen decided to withdraw the offer on the house. When the people showed up this morning to look at our house they showed up without an agent and asked all kinds of personal questions that had nothing to do with the house. We felt they were trying to hand pick who they sold their house to and the reason they gave us for wanting to see our house was nothing but a lie. Not only is this unethical, but it's actually illegal and Allen has called their agent. We'll see if their agent still has a job after this. The guy didn't answer either number we have for him so Allen had to leave a msg but he didn't say what he was calling about on the msg so the guy wouldn't know what was up.
We were lead to believe by these people's agent that they just wanted to come over and see the house to find out if it was a place that they thought would sell quickly because they weren't wild about the contingency. If that was their real reason, why were they here without their agent first of all? Second, they had no right to ask the kinds of personal questions they did and I felt personally like it was an invasion of privacy.
There is one more house my mother wants to see but she may make an offer of one of the four we saw the last time we were out looking.
