today was the scca solo 2 race at the birmingham race course. i did pretty well. my best run was 60.4?? seconds. i consider that ok, since the best in my class was 53.8??, and that was by a man that has been solo 2 racing longer than i have been alive. everyone said that 60 seconds was a good time for the course, and that was before they asked if it was my first time. i was fairly consistant. i only hit about 6 cones (out of 8 runs), and i never disqualified. it was pretty much the most fun i've ever had.
