My second Skybox show (WELCOME TO AMERICA, MAY I TAKE YOUR BORDER?) opens tonight (Friday). I actually feel cool because my name is on two of the twelve posters in the display cases on the outside of the theater for this weekend only, as my other show closes this weekend. PANTS has been a great experience. I will probably be working with these same people again in a show in February or March because we got along so well during this show. Gotta keep truckin'. If you want to come,
you can find information on the show here. It's a little earlier in the night (10:30).
My brief Winternship with i.O. is officially over. It was relatively painless, but it grew tedious, so I'm glad it's done. I actually had the slowest night ever tonight, which gave me good time to just chat it up with the fellow interns.
Best of all, I'm doing okay. I'm getting back into the swing of things now that the holiday is over and I'm realizing more and more how right the whole break-up was to happen when it did. It doesn't mean I can't still miss her and us every so often. I'm so used to it. It's normal.
Finally, I'm done actively looking for a job. I'm finally satisfied with the new position and pay re-increase Gold Leaf has given me, but I still might look for a second job for the weekends or a few weeknights. That bartending gig won't likely start until around May, but I've been all but guaranteed the position by Carl. Good to know.
