Notes and Readings
Oh yah, I think the notes/readings for KI and Bio are freaking thick to say the least. I am really struggling to find any superlative that can describe the continuous build-up of our overwhelming amount of materials. I have the feeling that the two subjects are having some sort of “notes race” to see who can give their students more stuff, which gives me a bad premonition over the amount of money I’m going to pay to my treasurer ($6.60 for term 2 KI and there will be more readings!). I sincerely believe that taking Bio and KI means you will probably paying the most for photocopying, maybe only after triple science people.
Anyway, KI is leading at the moment with around 300 pages for 2 terms though Bio is not that far behind though with only about 160 pages but with photosynthesis, respiration, SPA lecture, DNA and Gene coming up later this term.
With so much notes/readings, I’m struggling to see how on earth am I going to study for my exams. I estimate that I will probably need to study around 500 pages for Bio and maybe another 500. Maybe the only solution is to start early. For KI at least, the lectures will help you digest the readings and there will be resources at the class group so it’s not so bad. Jiayou!
