Amazing Week

Wow despite negligible progress in this long march, this had been an amazing week for me.

First and foremost, got quite good marks for my maths class test. This means that I have never failed any class test under Miss Lee. :D

Secondly, I actually got selected for the Dramabox script thing. I should say I'm really quite lucky since I only started writing my idea like 1-2 hours before the deadline. If I remembered correctly, I actually submitted a little over midnight so technically speaking I'm past the deadline. But apparently that doesn't really matter.

And hold and behold, I actually got our grand senior Mr. 柯思仁 as mentor. Wow I'm very lucky. And contrary to what Kian Yang speculate, the assignment of mentor and mentee is based on "affinity" towards the script idea submitted, so I guess I have this 缘分. Besides the unique opportunity to work with him to gain an understanding and stuff, I think I can gain interesting info from a grand senior. For a start, 方伟成(pardon if I used the wrong word) is actually his student! I think I should give him a copy of cheng shuo as present because apparently he’s in charge of the very first book!
And lastly, it’s of course the result of 导督团. Obviously I’m quite happy that I got selected as stage manager for ghost. But that sense of excitement is replaced by the heavy sense of responsibility the very next moment. After I looked at what seniors had written in the sm report, I realised that sm has quite a significant workload. Actually, despite the size of the whole chou wei, everyone had a lot of work to do due to the scale of huang cheng ye yun. But since I’m given this responsibility, I will perform my duty so as not to disappoint anyone.
Ok back to mugging now.
PS. I think the results of the translation competition should be out soon. Since I’m still not being informed of anything, I guess I had won nothing. But if I actually won a prize and need to attend prize-giving ceremony, I will try VERY HARD not to complainif it happens to be this coming Saturday/Sunday. But I think the chance of winning is rather small, because I think I screwed it up.
