I came across this today while reading the news:
Latin Hollywood actors back immigrant boycott
EJO will be part of the May 1st "Day Without Immigrants" to protest the current Bush Administration policy on immigration. I have very mixed feelings about this subject. On one hand, immigration is a cornerstone of American culture - and no one should be discriminated against because of their ancestry. OTOH, we do need to secure our borders from those people who willfully break the law to sneak in.
That's all I'll say about politics for now, because I honestly don't know what the answer is to this dilemma. :-( But, it's EJO in the news, so I thought you guys might be interested.
