JonBenet rant.
Hey so there's breaking news about a suspect in the murder or a child that spent most of her life being exploited by her parents and her surroundings.
First of all I would like to send a huge FUCK OFF to the north american media regarding their recent coverage of JonBenet. You know what? There are not one, not two, but three wars going on with earth shattering ramifications. Yes it's terrible that a po' lil white girl was murdered ten fucking years ago.
You know what though?
Thousands of children are dying right now in the middle east primarily due to gross negligence on this side of the world. Why isn't this front and centre?
I'm not laying blame at anyone's feet on LiveJournal, or my peers or even my government, who I'm laying blame on is the north american media for making a story out of this, when they should be doing their jobs and holding our governments and middle eastern/african governments for the humanitarian crisis going on over there.
So yeah, the our sensationalist media can go fuck itself. And it should learn to report on things that actually matter.
