Two things before I go to bed:
1) After nearly a year of playing, I have made it to the Outland on WoW. :D I feel rather squishy at the moment, like most enemies can polish me off if they get through my PW: Shield, but looking at even the rewards from the first couple of quests I've seen (Haven't finished one yet, will get to that tomorrow) my power will be swiftly rising. @_@;
2) My dad, brother, and one of our back-up singers/piano players are all away to the same conference, and the only people to lead worship at church tomorrow are me, and my mom. We practiced tonight which is weird because we never really have to practice, but since both of us are going to be out of our elements tomorrow...
I have a basic stage confidence since I've been up there for over a year now, but tomorrow I actually have things resting my hands. I'm sort of used to being able to play arpeggios and riffs in the background, and tomorrow I'm going to be playing my synth while simultaneously handling the projector, and attempting background vocals. Here's hoping it's not a complete disaster.
3) (I lied) I found
this earlier today. I've figured SDL out at least a little. I'm not sure if I could make the jump to something 3d with my current understanding of programming. Though I went through some of the Tactics Heroes source code just the other day and understood it 1000x better than when I had no idea what anything meant in terms of programming. I feel like jumping immediately from games based on a Windows Console output to (crappy) 3d graphics is TOO BIG a jump for me to make. At least I have a much better understanding of how to make things look decent in 2d without too much effort. Though, I looked at a couple of MOGRE's tutorials, and it seemed to run along the same lines as what I'm already used to.
Okay, that's it.
