In which we learn that I'm vegan and I shop at Trader Joe's a lot. Which we knew. Got it from

1) Laundry detergent: Trader Joe's, baby.
2) Fabric softener: Don't use it. Fabric softener is a racket.
3) Floor cleaner: Trader Joe's all-purpose Next to Godliness -- the green stuff in the spray bottle. I get down on my hands and knees and spritz and scrub.
4) Carpet cleaner: Haven't needed to do this at all since Spike went to kitty heaven, but I do use Resolve to clean up cat barf. I don't want to know what's in it or who they tested it on. That shit works.
5) Glass cleaner: That same Trader Joe's all purpose stuff, or plain water.
6) Dish detergent: Trader Joe's ylang ylang for hand washing. The Trader Joe's liquid stuff for the dishwasher.
7) Bathroom cleaner: Ecover cream scrub.
8) Bath soap: For a long time I've been using up this Savon Deluxe stuff I bought at Target lo these many moons. I love French-milled soap, and this stuff is even vegan. I'm almost out of it, so I just picked up a bar of oatmeal almond something-something at -- wait for it -- Trader Joe's.
9) Shampoo: Aveda Be Curly. Sometimes I use Nature's Gate extra body on the weekends to make the Aveda last longer, because Aveda products are so fucking expensive and I have to go to the maul to get them. I hate the maul.
10) Conditioner: Aveda Be Curly.
11) Styling products: My fingers.
12) Deodorant: Usually Tom's of Maine unscented. Right now I'm using up a thing of Trader Joe's that BB didn't like, but I'm not buying it again because it doesn't say "no animal ingredients, no animal testing," so I'm suspicious.
13) Toothpaste: Jason Ester-C. It's orange. There's another Jason's that's green; I've used it too. Only toothpaste I've been able to find that does have fluoride and doesn't have SLS.
14) Mouthwash: I only use this rarely. When I do, it's Tom's dry mouth formula with fluoride.
15) Face cleanser: Alba sea scrub. Mmm, algae.
16) Moisturizer: Beauty Without Cruelty with sunscreen.
17) Treatment: I have no idea what this means.
18) Lip balm: Avalon Organics is the only vegan one I can stand. Everyone else swears by Merry Hempster but it totally made my chapped lips worse (BB's too -- what is it with us?). I also have a bunch of pregan ones floating around -- the Neutrogena overnight stuff, which really is great although I'm sure they test on animals, a few Body Shop ones, and a friend just gave me an Avon one that I must admit I like a lot.
19) Nail polish: I don't do nail polish.
20) Make up: Or makeup.
