Detailed Update.

Today I was reading Readers Digest. You guessed it, in the bathroom. Pretty much the only place I read the magazine cause that's where it ends up shortly after we get it in the mail. My times on the porclean seat are thus much longer then need be because of reading RD. Anyway, one little article said Stressed backwards is Desserts. I thought that was quite fitting. When you are stressed evidently horomones are released to help with the stress and that lowers your blood sugar levels. So you need to replace that sugar and what better way to do that than with some desserts. So to fight being stressed you eat desserts and being unstressed is the opposite to stress just as stressed backwards is desserts and they are unstressfull. I don't think I'm conveying my thoughts well here, but I thought that was interesting.

In other news I have an ultimate tournament tomorrow. One day tournament on the commons and it will be fun. Then work and then work early sunday. Hopfully I get monday off work so I can go to practice and the NOFX concert. Stoked for both. Ultimate Nationals are next week so everyone get pumped. Go to www.halifaxultimate.ca and you can find a link to the nationals website. This tournament is going to have a lot of hot playing so you should come out and watch some games. My team (red circus) plays our first game against GOAT who are going to be probably the best team at the tournament. It'll be a fun match though, I'm excited.

My family went for a family portrait the other day. I hope it turns out well, and it should, I mean, we're all beautiful right? Afterwards my mum got me a pair of shorts. White ones to go with the red RC jerseys.

My cousin was here from Toronto last week. It was fun to hang out with Amy. I brought her to Peter's party (his birthday speach was awesome "we should cut down on greenhouse gases.") and that was fun. We hung out and did nothing a lot of the time. We had a donair night at some point and Jill came too. I was the only one who used my hands and boy were they messy, but delicious. On the last night she was here we went for some spontaneous Birch Cove drinking styles. Just had a few brew in the park for old times sake. Pretty soon I won't be able to enjoy underaged drinking. I want to go for "One Last Underaged Drink." at some point in the coming weeks.

Jill's been in PEI for the past while. I hope she's having a good time, but also that she comes back soon. Things with her are very good and I like her a lot. She really is an awesome girl.

My dad and sister left Thursday for BC for Legions. Legions are a big nation wide track meet and my sister will compete in a few events. 100 meter hurddles, shot put and a main focus in high jump. She won the Bronze at Juniour Nationals in high jump the other weekend in Montreal, so I think she has a good shot at doing well at Legions. Look for her in the paper.

I think this has been sufficient in length and a pretty all encompassing update.
Summer is quickly ending. Make the most of the time you have left.
I must admit though, there are a number of things September has which I'm looking forward to.

Lakes, stars, warm breezes and music surround me.
