Weekend

Let's sum this up.

Thursday:

Went to Halifax to play frisbee with Jill and Janet. It was a lot of fun and they learned a lot. I was impressed with their interest and then ability. It was a fun afternoon and we played a good 3 hours of frisbee. Then we got slushies and I saw Alastair walking around with Rob.
It was my brother's birthday Thursday too. He turned 14. So there was a party for him and stuff, that was cool.

Friday:

Spent the whole day thinking about the ultimate game that night. Sadly in the end due to all the rain, the fields were closed and the game was canceled. I did get to go to DHS ultimate practice though. Due to the drag that was not ultimate that night Neal and I decided to party down. Our team name IS Who Wants To Party? so it was appropriate. A lot of people came over, the usuals and it was pretty cool. I picked up Emily from work and we went to the party and hung out. It was sweet seeing her again. It was so long....(since ultimate that afternoon at DHS) Anyway, chilled and stuff then I had to drive her home. Ran back to Neal's after dropping off the car and started working on my share of the quart of Tequila Neal and I were splitting. It went down pretty good and it was a fun time. I arm wrestled Neal and Ian and I was 7 for 7. Yeah baby. People went home around 1:30 or 2, so Neal and I started watching Braveheart. Then we got the brilliant idea to go swimming in Lake Banook. We just jumped in and then right back out, out of fear of the water being so cold. Then we dove under the dock. Then I was in the water and went "Hey, it's not that cold." So we decided to swim across the lake to Mic Mac. Looking back, it wasn't the smartest choice we could have made. Luckily we are both strong swimmers and had control of our styles. Went back to Neal's and spent the night there.

Saturday:

Didn't do much until work. The usual, read, guitar, eat and stuff. Work was super slow. I shucked and oyster though, and that was cool. In the end it was so slow I got to go home early. At 7:30 (versus 11:00+ some nights) I was going home. Pat picked me up at home and we went to Katie's. Emily's mum called me like 10 minutes after I left. I was bummed cause I didn't get to go to her surprise party. But Katie's house was fun because it was Stephanie's birthday. Had some tall boys and some Jello shots. Tons of people were there so that was cool stuff. There was a bunch of weed around the place, so I got pretty high. Jessica kept giving me big hugs too. Then after a while I decided to puke in the bathroom. Then Pat and I took a cab home and I brushed my teeth and then went and passed out on my bed.

Sunday:

I got up really early for RC practice at 9:00 AM at the Mainland Commons. The practice was well, wet. We learned a new play so that was good but man did it rain. It was like a freakin monsoon. Soaked to the bone I come home for a bit before the High School Tourny. I had a shower and then filled the tub and pretty much had a nap in the tub. Then went out to the Mainland Commons again for the tournament. DHS ended up doing pretty ok. People found the wind and cold tough, but oh well, they're all still learning and just enjoying the game.
Emily came over right before dinner to hang out. We watched some redic movie. It was kind of a chick flick but mostly weird. A 15 year old girl was pretty permiscuous and wanted to be an actress. She and two friends accused a teacher of sexual abuse but were found out to have fabricated the charges. One girl commited suicide and the other hated the main character Kimberly. In the end, weird movie. Kimberly had a total bro boyfriend though. He called her up, wearing a collared shirt open, lifting weights, and wanting to tell her jokes about why Beer is better than Women. Pat came over about an hour into that movie and watched the rest. Then the three of us watched Tommy. The movie based on the rock opera by the Who. Em seemed pretty tired and napped at some parts. Drove Emily home and returned some movies to the store. It's her birthday tomorrow (when I wake up, technically now since it's now the 5th) so that's awesome. I don't really have much for her, but I hope she likes what I will give anyway. If I could, it would be the sun and the moon.
Pat and I pestered HHS for a bit after driving her home, and then jammed it up. I played guitar and he read out of my dad's old university textbooks for lyrics. It was pretty redic, but fun stuff.
