When?!
OK, I'm confused. I can't seem to find consistent release information for the upcoming River City games.
My company's website has a listing for Soccer Hooligans, even though it hasn't turned up in my work database yet. According to the site, it's been released but is "out of stock." Amazon similarly suggests that it's released, but doesn't say anything one way or the other about its stock. Either way, GameFAQs says it won't actually be out until the 18th.
While I'm on that one, my company's site listed new information that piqued my curiosity: "[G]amers can unlock as many as 50 additional teams for play." If that's true, I'm curious what they'll do to fill out that many teams.
Anyway, on the other hand, Sports Challenge isn't on the GameFAQs list at all, but Amazon gives it a release date of July 13th. It, too, has not popped up in my work database yet. I'd like to be able to buy them from my own company, but at this rate, I may have to go elsewhere to get them once I can figure out release status.
Man, if I'm this excited for remakes of the soccer and track games, I can only imagine how eager I'd be trying to get information over a remake of the hockey game. (Speaking of: I really hope that's the next one they do.)
