[ Firo's been trying to lie low since the cannibals came to town, but he can't ignore someone who looks like they're in trouble. He's not too far from the ruins of the house, and he jogs after her until she reaches her destination. Making sure to stay a few yards away so as not to startle her, he slows down to a walk. ]
[She jumped and shook her head hard, glancing over her shoulder to make sure the cannibals hadn't followed her] I--um. I'm fine, thank you. [He gets a hurried bow. There's never too big a crisis to ignore manners]
[ He walks a little closer to hand her, hilt first, a slightly sooty kitchen knife. How some of the cutlery managed to survive, Firo had no idea and he really didn't care. ]
I don't know how helpful this'll be, but you gotta keep at least somethin' with you. Just in case.
