Streets of Fandom, Wednesday night
Bruce was on a casual walk around town, not a care in the world, just letting life guide him through the night.
"Hey, you," Spider-Woman said as she dropped down in front of him. "What the hell, man?"
"I'm sorry?" Bruce asked, looking at the superhero.
"Was that a crosswalk you just walked down the middle of?" Spider-Woman asked. "Because from where I was standing, it looked like you just crossed in the middle of the fucking street! You jaywalked. ADMIT IT!"
"I didn't know we had jaywalking laws in this town," Bruce said. "But if we do, then I guess I did."
"Yeah, you did," Spider-Woman said as she webbed his feet to the sidewalk. "Now stand here for an hour and think about what you've done. If you don't, I'll be back and things will get a little more physical."
As she swung off, Bruce couldn't help but mutter, "A fine would have been easier for both of us. Oh well."
And then he just stood around, chillaxing until the webbing dissolved and he could go on home to the Arms.
