The Cave, Sunday evening
Off day Friday, light workout Saturday, intense workout today. Bruce was getting himself back onto schedule. Except for right now, of course. Right now he was taking some extra time in the cave to work on his crimefighting outfit.
His armored gear had worked pretty well in terms of stopping a bullet, but he didn't have much confidence in repeated blows, and it just wasn't right. Maybe the armor slowed him down. Maybe he needed to sacrifice speed for durability and add more armor.
Or maybe he needed different outfits for different situations. Annnnd that was what he'd be working on until the morning.
And so began the slippery descent into infinite alternate costumes that would clog toy bins until the end of time.
