The Cave, Thursday morning [NFB]
After receiving an anonymous message and deciding to take the fact that he hadn't been able to get in contact with either Alfred or Dr Leslie Tompkins to heart, Bruce decided to do something probably insane. Packing only an overnight bag and his utility belt, he decided to risk portal travel in order to get to Gotham faster. This would be the first time he was in Gotham in five years. He was prepared for the consequences of that; but family came first. He needed to be sure Alfred and Leslie were okay. He'd deal with any psychological trauma later.
Of course, that would be too easy. And so it probably wasn't a huge shock that Bruce somehow ended up in Medieval France.
