At the end of the day, Bruce made his way out to his cave. All of his security and alarms had been developed and installed. Now he was starting to work on his equipment. His basic weapons were simple and effective. There weren't really many changes you could or should make to brass knuckles, shuriken, and bolas, after all. But he needed a simple rebreather (just in case he needed to deal with gas or underwater environments), flash grenades (to go with his smoke grenades and simple explosives), and binoculars (okay, he'd just get a pair from whichever Wayne company produced binoculars and leave it at that).
But his tinkering for tonight was to build a new grapple with a new feature. Honestly, he probably did need more firepower than he currently had, just in case he came up against more monstrous beasts, like the island's animals transformed into last month. And so he was working stun gun capabilities into the grapple.
Bruce set up a mannequin and aimed the grapple at it. With a pull of the grapple's trigger, the line fired, with the claw sinking into the mannequin. Bruce released the safety and pulled the secondary trigger, sending a shock across the line, frying the mannequin. "Hmm. Too strong for normal people," Bruce mused. "But it should work nicely to stun anything or anyone with enough strength or invulnerability."
Bruce stroked his chin as he started to develop a plan to test this and some other equipment out. But first he'd need to call a friend....
