Peter had to blink when he saw the line of foxes in the hallway. He didn't think he recognised any of them, but he nodded as they bowed and called out their greetings.
He pushed open the door to the suite somewhat tentatively, breathing a sigh of relief when he realised there were no other unexpected types of animals. "There seem to be a skulk of foxes in the hall," he said, eyeing the piles of notes. "Foxes with extremely large ears."
"Hi sweetie!" Willow said, smiling when she saw him. "Oh, they're not all related. At least I don't think they are. I mean I suppose they're all related in a broad sort of way since they're all the same type of foxes but I'm pretty sure they're not immediate family. Of course I haven't asked."
"Good afternoon, lady," he said, smiling back as he unbuckled Rhindon and lay the sword and belt to the side before crossing to her. "Ought I ask why they're here? Or should I absent myself and pretend I never saw them?"
"Hi Rhindon," Willow said to the sword. "And they're here for job interviews. Well one job, multiple interviews since they're multiple foxes and it's not fair to make them all interview together, to say nothing of how hard it would be to hear them all if they all talked at once."
