Three-Toed Sloth Side B, Sunday late afternoon/evening

Willow had gotten herself moved into her alcove of the cabin, then set about preparing for the slumber party. She set up her small TV/VCR combo in the middle of side B, with Bollywood films at the ready. She also had the makings of s'mores, as well as chips, popcorn, soda, pizza, and various forms of chocolate

Once Hermione's gotten her things set up in B-1 (as it is the closest she can get to quiet for when studying has to be done), she heads over to Willow's part of the room. "Hello," she greets her.

"Hey," Willow said. Nope. Not at all brimming with relief now that at least one person had showed. "I've got party stuff! There's unhealthy food of every color of the rainbow. Provided your rainbows only go from yellow to orange to brown."

"How unhealthy?" she has to wonder, because the colors make her wonder.

"In theory the pizza's good for you since it's got vegetables in the form of sauce, and dairy in the form of cheese."

"I've heard that logic before," she says. "It isn't actually true, but I can make an exception."

[willbedone]

"Oh it's totally not true," Willow agreed. "But by the logic of slumber parties, it works. I was thinking later we could do s'mores, assuming the other half of the cabin doesn't hate us for turning this place into party central."

"Do you know who's on the other side?" she asks, craning her neck in case she can see. "I haven't had a chance to look yet."

[willbedone]

"Me neither," Willow said. "I put a note out to invite them. Figured that'd be polite. If they all want in we could move to the common area and not be all squished."

"Or if they're all right with it, we can move in there anyway," she says. "As long as we aren't being rude."

[willbedone]

"Rude? Us?" Willow looked innocent. "Hardly ever, and certainly not if somebody really deserves it. Which, granted, I don't know who lives on the other side yet so I'll assume they don't until such time as we meet and one of them does something like steal our books."

Hermione's eyes go wide. "I don't know anyone that would do that. They usually leave the books to me."

[willbedone]

"Same here," Willow said. "Except for Giles who usually tries to hide them from me. Oh! There's a Giles here in town! We have to go see him!"

"Who's Giles?" Hermione asks.

[willbedone]

"Librarian at my old school," Willow said. "He owns a bookstore now. He also used to - um - is - um - he's really close to this group called the Watchers, who know all about magic and demons and vampires."

Hermione almost says oooh. "Wow. I looked for the bookstore when I was in town yesterday," she says. "Zack said that he had found a book in ancient Greek there."

[willbedone]

"That sounds like Giles," Willow confirmed. "We must go. We must find books!"
