It was pointed out to me that I have been remiss in posting here and I have promised to make an effort to change that.
I've gone through quite a few changes in my life as of late, most of which, for a variety of reasons, I didn't feel comfortable discussing publicly. In some cases, I still feel that way.
One thing I will discuss is my recent change in employment. I forgot how rewarding it could be to work for someone you fully believe in. I also forgot how much I enjoy writing speeches. Strangely enough, I didn't forget how much harder it is to get potential legislation acknowledged and discussed at this level. In any case, I'm lucky to be where I am doing what I'm doing.
And I'm happy. (Which seems a bit foreign to me, but I've decided to just accept it and avoid further introspection.)
