My recital went very awesomely...my theory professor said that my program was "very ambitious", and all of my performers did amazing. Now to write the 30-page paper that goes with it, which is what I'm supposed to be doing during the summer term.
Speaking of which: summer!
Working lots at the pool, and making a library trip tomorrow to grab more books for the paper-writing fun-ness. Getting my wisdom teeth out in August, which my insurance unfortunately does not cover because they're not impacted (yay).
Gaming prospects for the summer and beyond (since I won't have classes and boatloads of recitals to work) look pretty good. Rejoining the Aberrant game of which I attended about 2 sessions worth before classes started kicking my butt. Going to play in a high-magic D&D 3.5 campaign run by a friend, and will probably play a lawful good/stupid crusader...which will be interesting because another potential player ALWAYS plays neutral evil rogues with crappy backstories and no character motivation beyond "kill people evilly and maybe take their stuff instead." Plus she is just rather obnoxious OOC as well, acting like her character is the most amazing, deadly, and evasive thing in the world.
She is unfamiliar with the Tome of Battle and the little things called "maneuvers." :)
