So, I guess we're on the move again. Fantastic.
Before we go into another ridiculous city, I have to ask this before I forget.
Is there anyone here who has medical training? Now that Sakura's missing... More specifically, surgical training?
I've been putting this off for much longer than I should have, but.. [ there's hesitation ] I need a

[aaaaaand just a pause before] I can probably draw up a diagram and reverse-engineer a robotic replacement based on my own, but hooking it into your nervous system for proper operation would be tricky. We don't really have the equipment to make neural implants- and probably nothing spinal, either.

[ woah he wasn't expecting this level of expertise, so he's pleasantly surprised ] Thank God, someone who knows what they're doing.
As long as you can make it so I can make a fist, that's all I care about.

[....wait what did he just say?] Yeah, probably. I'll have to take a look at your arm and see what kind of materials are lying around. It shouldn't be too difficult if you don't want anything fancy. I can show you my arm if you want to know what you'd be working with.

That'd be great; I'd really appreciate it. I don't need anything special, just enough so that I can hold and operate a pistol.

Oh, is that all? [psh! kids stuff.] That I can do, no problem. I can shoot and type without a problem. Have to, it's my dominant hand.

You're going to have to help me find parts but otherwise I guess you're off the hook. Hell, it'll be fun to put something like this together, can you imagine how much calibrating this is going to take? Awesome. [and yes. he does seriously sound excited.]

Are you sure? [ jeeze this guy is super nice baww ] ..And I think you're the first person I've met that actually enjoys calibrating machinery. [ he chuckles ]

If it makes you feel any better you can just owe me, but unless you stumble on a collection of comic books or something I don't think you're going to be paying me back. [and f-fffff] How can anyone not enjoy calibrating machinery? And we'll have to run all sorts of diagnostics, not to mention the amount of programming involved in getting the hand to move... [trailing off into a little nerdgasm here]
[ahem] Of course we'll have to work on that part after this underwater bullshit we're going through. I can draw up some diagrams before that, though, and get to work once we're back.

--Ah, right. That sounds good to me. Thanks again....--Oh, I didn't introduce myself. That would kinda help, right? [ another chuckle ] Nathan McNeill.
