I hope so. I have been attempting to contact the--Beast to attempt to negotiate their release, but I have had no luck so far. I believe that our arrival has made him considerably more upset.

I don't suppose he wants to trust people i-if what he said about stealing is true... But there are innocent people there too, right?

I believe so. It is worrying, especially since they are apparently not being feed or given water.

I agree. I will wait at least a day to see our new Host's intentions, if he has any. Charging in and rescuing those in the cells at the danger of alienating the beast is unwise.

Oh, it's very nice to meet you too, Diana-san. Things haven't been too bad - I-I think they could've been a lot worse.

Indeed they could have been. Being optimistic so relatively early in our journey seems a folly, but so far, I have met kind and generous people who are quite willing to help each other. It is a pleasure, and perhaps a rarity, since being flung into another world--the people you find there are generally not as helpful and hospitable, in my experience.

Yes, I think we've all been quite lucky to have been on a trip with such kind people. Where I'm from finding allies wasn't easy, b-but here... It's easy to make friends. It makes things a lot easier!

I am glad that you have founds friends here. It seems that most everyone has, including myself. Though, do you have others here from your home, out of curiosity?

Yes, at least we can be a little more comfortable... But no, there's no one but me from where I came from.

I am sorry for that. With the...unusual way this journey seems to work, perhaps they shall come.

Maybe. I... I think it'd be better if they don't. I'd rather they stay at home and do the important things that we need to do.
