It is... occupied by Britannia at the moment, and when that happens, Britannia gives the conquered region a number.

( 'Britannia'? Beyond lived in England for many years, but it hadn't been occupying other countries for centuries by the time he'd arrived. So why now--? What had happened in this girl's 'dimension'? Even if it isn't his own world's Japan under conquest by the UK... It's still a little distressing to hear of Japan's defeat to another nation. He'd rather his birthplace stay strong and dignified; weren't the atomic bombs bad enough? He's never considered himself very patriotic, but ... conquest is something he feels justified in being slightly distressed about. )

I see. If you know the details of this conquest by Britannia, would you care to enlighten me on them?

[ oh boy, this is a tall order. She's a little uncomfortable typing it out, but it's not exactly uncommon knowledge back home. ]

It was a war over the sakuradite supplies that Japan had. There was a disagreement over how it should be distributed and it resulted in war. Japan is under occupation now, but there are a lot of people trying to change that.

[ A pause. ]

...Do you know if people can be from the same place, but from different times? [ That would explain why Mr. Edgeworth didn't recognize her. But how could that be possible? ]

Oh, the person I was talking about was also from Japan. So it is possible, I would think... It's really confusing though.

[ ah, a familiar face! he doesn't know the girl very well, but they're at least from the same world (even if they're from completely different times). ]

[Oh, her voice sounds kinda cute...]

Area 11? I'm from Japan, but I've definitely never heard anyone call it that before.

[ oh yosuke ♥ ]

It seems like a lot of people haven't... But, I actually think it's better that way.

I'm from Japan, 1988.

[Just kinda stays quiet after saying that. If people from different worlds and times can show up here... Maybe her brother will too, from a point in time when he was alive.]
