[Yoite is silent. Far more silent then he normally is. He's been fighting, but instead of being worn out some dark and lonely corner, the confused teenager is baiting a trap. A trap for any of those beasts and demons out there to fall for

Tap tap. Tap tap tap.
There's a white face in your window right about now, peering in through the glass trying to figure out if you're there.
How the heck did he scale the building?
Well...ninja techniques and stuff seem to work better when you can actually put on a turn of speed. He's pretty pleased in some part of him that he can cling like this. He feels like a superhero.
He figured your first danger instinct would be to lock your room, and he knows you can't get in from the outside in that case. Also, being dead doesn't seem to have given him the ability to turn into a bat, or into mist as far as he can tell yet. He's a little disappointed and relieved at the same time. Mist and animals are messy.
Have some big, wide bug-eyes, Yoite, staring in at you expecting blood on all the furniture, or all over the room. Which naturally, he'll need to clean when you're done.
He leaves no mist on the windowpane as he whispers urgently, clinging to the frame, and knocking insistantly.]
Yoite-kun! Yoite-kun are you okay?! Nii-san!
[He can't explain why he feels this need like he needs to be invited in. At a time like this, no less.
Panic panic panic...]
Nii-san, open up!

Sorry, but genius boy is smarter than the average Boo Boo bear, Gau... he's noticed something is wrong with you, straight away.]
You're cold... here, come in and warm, there are things outside and in the halls that you are too small and weak to fight. Stay with me.
[Nodding, grabbing Gau's shoulder and dragging him into the room, dumping his blanket over his head before going back over to the door, pressing his ear to it and listening.]

That's not-!
[Blanket to the face, for a moment, reminding Gau of home, and of Raikou, who always knows just how to shut him up. That, and the blanket is a little warm, too. Yoite must have been using it. He pauses, unexpectedly comforted.
The room reeks of old blood, and Gau's stomach curls in hunger, but it's dimmed by revulsion and disgust the way even a hungry man's would at the scent of the turned, baking, soiled and spilled things in a dumpster.
He notices a slick of blood at the back of Yoite's sleeve where must have wiped his mouth after coughing. He tears his eyes away from that with great effort, standing, still wrapped in the blanket, taking in the lingering warmth. For once, he's quiet, and absoltely awkward.]
I thought...you were in trouble.
[He hesitates, then sighs, pushing the blanket back over Yoite, even though the cold bites deeply without the borrowed warmth. He can't make the blanket any warmer.]
If you aren't, I should go. I mean...
[He looks at his pale hand. Even next to Yoite it looks bloodless. He swallows, and feels the razor edge of his teeth with his tongue. He can smell the blood on Yoite's breath, and there's a low feeling in the pit of his stomach, something between dread and fascination.]
I'm one of the things out in the hallways.
[He drops the blanket over Yoite's shoulders, and steps back, twisting at his wakachi bangle until the metal bites into his wrist. He's kind of creeped out by how much he wants to be near his dying friend right now, by how hard it is to ignore all that blood in him, even dried-up and damaged as kira has made him. Ordinarily his reaction to it is to race to find a way home, and despair. Now, it's...
It's...
Distracting.
In a low and terrible way.
Fascinating.
It's a hook of deadly attraction, and he can't be near him. He shouldn't be near him. He takes a step back from Yoite, so he can stop staring at the traces of blood at the corners of his lips.]
I came to help you. But if you don't need it, it's probably better that I go. I...
[He looks away again, ashamed.]
I need to find something to eat in the woods. An animal.
It's not...safe for me to be here otherwise. Even with you.

...No.... No..
[Coming over, in a leap of his ninja speed. Sitting straddled over Gau's legs, one gloved hand holding Gau's head back against the wall by his throat, not enough to choke him, but with the threat of it there. Pointing that lethal finger of his right between Gau's eyes. Narrowing already slanted, sightless eyes as he tried to make out Gau's face, to make out any changes.]
Which kind are you?
[Letting his grip go, but keeping his index finger pointed in place, as he felt over Gau's ears and hair, feeling for wolf ears, next he pulled his jaw open, feeling for fangs... and finding them.]
.... Gau
[Letting go, but still sitting in place, lowering that dangerous finger of his and looking off to the side.]
Someone else might kill you out there... stay. If you..if you need to feed?...
[He held the high neck of his sweater, never taking into consideration that his blood would taste like crap, but he was willing to offer, if only to keep his only friend from home alive.]
