Then you should definitely come and exchange recipes. Most of my Western cooking is pastries, and between lack of fresh seafood ingredients, limited quantities of rice, and no sauces to speak of, there's only so far Watanuki-kun and I can go to keep ample, nutritional foods in supply for our comrades!

I read a lot of his medical files. (It's my job to monitor those within our organization.) Kazuho-san's records indicated he's eaten like that ever since he grew, and he grew almost three feet in three days. His technique affects his hormone levels, apparently, so I'm sure it's thanks to his kira technique.
(It's not like he tastes it, either.)

But the kira technique does require a lot of energy. It basically converts lifeforce after all. He's losing his senses because he's been using it for this long. It's actually fairly ordinary for Kira-users, I think. (There wasn't a lot of informatoin I could hack, I mean. Kazuho-san is really gifted at encoding her personal files.)
So he can't taste it, and he doesn't see very well anymore, but I think he can still smell it because he usually likes the scented cakes I make him.
(He says they smell sweet. I think that's a good thing.)

Raikou can't even trust himself to touch people he cares about without corrupting them. Don't get me started on Raikou. He probably secretly reveres Gau just as much as Gau reveres him, but don't make a bet on it getting anywhere at this point in canon, I'll put it that way...]
