We have all the time in the world to figure that out later, those kids don't if she's eating them. They might be other travelers who got caught like us, how can we just leave them??
Well, er, that is possible but I'm sure it's not really like that. I mean, come on-- what's the likelihood our benevolent host would leave helpless travelers in peril?
Well, if we can get them to stop for us that'd be great, but either way I want to go. I wouldn't be able to keep going knowing I could have helped them out.
