WM: Sleep (practice)
Because I haven't yet applied to
writers_muses (been busy), here's some more practice:
Character Dossier: Answer as few or as many as you like in as much detail as possible. (Some of these may seem a bit redundant as they echo some earlier questions, but this is for a reason.)
Bedtime: Does your muse go to bed consistently at the same time? No, not really. When we're at the Manor, I tend to just crash whenever we get home. The next morning, if we've been on the road for a while, Devon usually tells the staff not to wake me up until about 9 or 10. Otherwise, when we're on the road, I sleep...eventually. Usually just to stop KITT from nagging me (though he means well). A few times he's threatened to lock me in the car and just let me sleep in the drivers' seat. *g*
What Time? See above. It really does depend on what's going on. I've been known to sneak around past the 2am mark, when we're on a case. Hey, you can't snoop in people's files during regular business hours, you know.
With Whom? KITT, if you count the times I have dozed off in the drivers' seat, or the fact that the comlink is either on my wrist or on my nightstand. Anyone else, um...not in a while.
Do they fall asleep right away? Usually. If I'm tired (which is more often than not), I'm out before my head hits the pillow.
If No, what are they doing in the meantime? Reading? Watching TV? Sex? Tossing and Turning? On the rare occassion when I don't fall asleep right away, I usually talk to KITT. He never sleeps--well, he recharges, but he usually waits to do that until I'm asleep. If I wake up he jumps right back to awareness. He doesn't need to fully shut down to recharge.
How much do they enjoy this activity? Talking to KITT is always good. It feels...safe.
Does your muse dream a lot, little or never? It depends on how tired I am.
Are most of your muse's dreams scary, pleseant, sexual,etc? If I'm really tired, I sometimes have bad dreams, usually about my mom. I've woken up crying from some of those. Otherwise it's just the weird kind of stuff that only makes sense in dreams. I used to dream about KITT, but not so much anymore.
Is any one dream recurrent (yes/no)? My mom, and the night she died. This dark-haired guy who I've never seen before...and yet I know it's KITT. Those are the two I have most of the time.
Does your muse sleep peacefully throughout the night. Restlessly or very badly? Like a rock, most of the time. When we're on a case I can get kind of jumpy, but I know that KITT will wake me up if there's danger.
