[ The first thing one might notice following the activation of the video feed is the Cyndaquil standing in front of the PokeGear. It seems rather content to wave a stubby arm at the oh so very interesting flashing red light on the device. Standing behind and off to one side of the Cyndaquil with a good few feet between them is a girl with red hair

[ A few minutes pass before Hikaru manages to figure out just how to turn the device that's on, and that's after several minutes of button pressing while holding her Cyndaquil under one arm. The really proud expression on her face quickly melts into one of curiosity as her Cyndaquil chirrups and flails lightly. ]

Well, I'm not saying everybody was chloroformed and stuffed in a bag by some mustachio'd guys in black costumes before they were brought here or anything.

But the point is, we were all brought here by something and it wasn't by our own will.

Hence, 'kidnapped'.

But why would somebody kidnap us? It doesn't make any sense!
