Normally, I wouldn't include crowd funding things here, but I feel this one is important. And as, our show is frustratingly dull at the moment, I thought I should put something interesting on this site.
"Playing Gay" is a documentary that chronicles how television changed the way North Americans view LGBT people.
From the Website: Playing Gay: How America Came Out on Television is a documentary film just beginning production. It will tell -- for the first time -- the story of how television changed the way America views LGBT people.
There has been a major shift in the hearts and minds of America over the past four decades. Television was both the catalyst for, and a powerful reflection of Americans’ views on gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgender people.
We are lining up interviews with actors and directors who have played key roles in the history of LGBT people on TV, but we need the resources to make this film a reality.
Simply put: without your support, this story won't be told.

I kinda wished they'd include movies in this cause frankly, I think we just celebrated the 10 year anniversary of the biggest attitude shifter in this moviement - Brokeback Mountain. Everything seemed to change after that movie. Regardless, this seems to be an important and interesting documentary. I thought to bring it to the attention of as many people as I could. Even if you don't want to contribute, please spread the word.
