Possible Casting Rumors (which means possible spoilers)

You better take a deep breath, Days Of Our Lives fans, rumors are rampant that beloved (and Emmy-nominated) Freddie Smith is leaving the show, and in fact, has already stopped taping.
Keep in mind that these are just rumors at this point and no official confirmation has been made by NBC or Freddie, but it has shown up on soap blogs and the chatter is increasing.
Okay, let’s examine this. If it is true (and we’re all praying it’s not), the show tapes 5-6 months in advance, so we’ll still have Sonny Kiriakis (one of the 25 Greatest Gay Soap Opera Characters) through the summer. Plus there is no word on recasting or how this will affect the Will (Guy Wilson) and Paul (Christopher Sean) characters, but we’ll keep you updated as soon as information becomes available.
