I really don't care for Paul, and what he could stand for, but after today, he's starting to grow on me. I couldn't help but feel sorry for him. Bravo to Christopher Sean....I could feel all the hurt and pain Paul was feeling about not being able to play Baseball again.
Paul is a great character and he has a great story. And I hope he finds love but I do not want it to be with Will or Sonny. Hopefully they will add another gay character at some point for Paul.
Sometimes I feel sympathetic towards Paul, but his smarmy behavior hasn't abated, so just when I'm getting squishy feelings he does something to squick me out.
I agree that they have a great storyline that they can really play with, but it feels like they're just going to squander it on this triangle.
I really felt bad for Paul today! But I am glad Sonny finally told him. Basically he has lost everything. I wish they would pick up the pace of this story. I can't wait until Will and Paul find out who the other really is. I like the storyline too...its giving me anxiety but I really like it! Lol
I stopped watching Days/WilSon shortly after Guy Wilson started airing. His Will did nothing for me and I knew I wouldn't be able to stomach the wedding. Then I saw Twitter abuzz with a new gay character and came back here to check it out (funny how Chandler is still in the banner on this page a year later).
The actor portraying Paul is terrific. His chemistry with Freddie was clearly immediate. Their scenes have been incredible from the beginning and only further highlight that the chemistry between Guy and Freddie is never going to materialize.
I couldn't care less whether Sonny cheats (this is a soap after all) as long as he gets closer to Paul. Guy's acting skills haven't improved at all and hopefully his days are numbered. Then bring back Chandler and create some real fireworks (assuming Freddie renews his contract which is up soon, I believe).
This reminds me of a bunny that bit me several months ago, where the real Will was kidnapped by Stefano and replaced with current!Will (played by Guy) and real!Will (played by Chandler) eventually finds his way back to Salem, possibly with amnesia like John Black, but maybe not. *g*
