It Has Begun!

My friends, the great Crazy 8's battle of 2005 is under way between Dan Flood and myself and the only word to describe my performance up to this point is...Determined. I jumped the gun taking an early 2 games to 0 lead, then Dan quickly answered by going 2 up on me. We exchanged wins for awhile until Dan brought out his A-game and took a 6 game lead. I was able to win 2 straight so Dan got to take a 4 game lead into day 2. I was a little down due to my performance, but I knew that my best was yet to come. My best was obviously to much for Dan's A-game as day 2 proved not to be Dans day. I quickly erased his 4 game lead as I roared past Dan winning 9 of 12 games, going 8 and out on 2 occasions. Of course the usual crys of "how are you so lucky!?" and "why would you ever do that!?" followed, but nothing could phase me, I was in a Crazy 8's zone. We are now entering day 3 with both champions knowing what its like to carry a lead into the next day, which adds more excitment to the sport of the Crazy 8's. Whats going to happen in day 3? Will Dan reunite with the same A-game that allowed him to take a 6 game lead just 2 days earlier? Or will the unpredictable Will Rau once again throw Dan off his game and continue his winning ways? I do not know, but what I do know is that you would be a fool not to stick around and find out!
